My background is rooted in Classics (BA), Ancient History (MA), Ancient Heritage Studies (PhD), with postdoctoral research in Digital Humanities and extensive teaching in Digital Epigraphy and training in TEI EpiDoc workshops. I am deeply interested in epigraphy and historical linguistics.
In over ten years as a developer, I have specialised in semantic web technologies for the publication of XML TEI collections of historical documents and literary texts – inscriptions, papyri, manuscripts, early printed texts –, digital lexica and online journals. My expertise covers all technical aspects of DH projects: data modelling, encoding support, frontend and backend web development, server deployment and administration.
